Musical Skirt

This latest collection is named ‘Nostalgic’ as the designer looked to her roots for inspiration.

During the creation stage for this collection, she found inspiration in objects that symbolized music and movement. Through exploring the rich history of West Africa, she was quite taken with the music that comes out of the calabash and its importance in African culture. Referencing the melodic, mellow and earthy rhythms, she created prints that are bold and feminine.

The designer has created a design narrative that invokes the feelings of joy, freedom and sensuality associated with the rhythmic sounds of the calabash. As a result, this collection allows the wearer to celebrate history in a modern, fresh and high fashion way.

NOTE: The silk prints are a limited range and once we run out, we will not reproduce. Each garment has been hand cut, and so the prints may sit slightly differently. We ensure you a unique garment.
